Nepal : Photogenic Karma.

—  PERSONAL PROJECT / Travel Photography —

My photographic journey in Nepal began in 2009, driven by curiosity and a deep sense of wonder. Over these years, Nepal has quietly transformed my approach as a photographer and deepened my understanding of what it means to truly see and experience a place.

Initially drawn by the grandeur of the Himalayas and the vibrant traditions of Kathmandu, I soon found that my photography was evolving beyond capturing striking images. Each return visit brought a slower pace, an increased awareness, and a deeper connection with everyday life. The quiet moments spent in tea shops, the warm interactions in villages, and the rituals witnessed during festivals taught me the value of patience and presence.

Nepal photography, for me, has become an intimate practice of observation and engagement. Instead of searching for spectacular scenes, I now find myself captivated by subtler moments that tell richer, more personal stories. The landscapes, traditions, and daily rhythms of Nepal continue to guide and inspire my photographic approach, reminding me always to slow down and truly observe.

If you feel a connection with this thoughtful approach to photography and wish to experience it firsthand, consider joining my next Nepal photography tour during the culturally vibrant festival of Tihar.
